GeoAI (Geospatial Artificial Intelligence) is a field that combines geographic data with AI techniques to analyse and interpret spatial information in ways that enhance our understanding of the world. Our Research in GeoAI focuses on developing AI-driven methods for processing and analysing large-scale geospatial data, including staellite immagery, GPS data and environmental data.
By integrating machine learning, deep learning and geographic information systems (GIS), we address challenges in urban planning, environmental monitoring, disaster management and sustainability. GeoAI enables more accurate predictions and decision-making by identifying spatial patterns and trends, modelling complex geographic phenomena, and providing actionable insights for policy makers and researchers.
Our work aims to harness the power of AI to address pressing global challenges such as climate change, resource management and urbanisation by unlocking the full potential of geospatial data.
